Midnight Gothic

This scrap is made from a free kit by Ditz Bitz called Gothic Romance. The kit is available on her blog; the link is on the right.

I Heart Flowers

My granddaughter, Haley, much to my delight, is developing a love for flowers. We have been weeding flower beds and she has been learning the names of the flowers already blooming in my garden. While with her, I am reminded of doing the same things with my own grandmothers.

This scrap is made from a kit by Ditz Bitz called Lavender Skies. The kit is available free on her web site. A link to the blog is on the right.

Ditz Bitz has invited me to be on her CT so I will be publishing my submissions for her kit. This is the 1st. Thanks, Brenda!!

Vintage Fairies

These 3 pages were done for a recent challenge at Scrapbook Flair.  The 1st page is the original scrap then the following 2 are the same scrap with different edits done to them.  Had a blast creating these and playing around with the different possible edits.  The background and all elements are from various kits by Cajoline.

The first page is just the background and elements arranged.  For the 2nd page I made the used a color edit for the entire scrap then layered the color version back over and used a mask that I colored the edges on.  The 3rd page is the original scrap with a colored pencil edit used and the colors tweeked a little.

When I Am Old

A photo of Miss Bug when she was being silly.  I masked the original background then embossed her image then colored the embossed image then layered another image of her with a mask to make just part of her image colored.  The poem is my own.

Basketball Girl

My granddaughter getting in a little more practice before her first basketball game.  I used a kit titled D-up by Kelly Jo Scraps available at Angel Baby Scraps.  I did recolor a couple of the items to make them a little more "girly".  The image of the tiger was extracted from another photo.

Smack!!

We've had a lot of snow in Oklahoma over the last few days.  This is my son and granddaughter enjoying a little snowball fight.  Luckily my son was standing close so when it smacked her in the face it didn't hurt.  Although she still wanted me to spank her dad...lol

Photos are my own.  This scrap created with a kit called Frosty Winter by Candleworks available at Scrapbook Flair.
